Walk & Yoga

Weekly yoga sessions are held online and face to face. These sessions ensure everyone can participate. The emphasis is on the breath and gentle movements working on each part of the body. The meditative aspects aim to calm and relax the mind. Additionally, twice a week we open our sessions to the general public, as we set out on a walk & yoga activity held at Headstone Lane Manor Park, Pinner View, Harrow HA2 6PX, every Wednesday & Sunday from 10-11a.m. (Map). This activity is free for everyone.

Celebrations & Entertainment

Member’s birthdays, key world festivals, special days, anniversaries, remembrances and more are all celebrated with great pomp and enthusiasm. We call in special chief guests, musicians, dancers, prominent speakers from the community, and at times special catering orders are placed to add more colour to these joyous events. Members are welcome to bring in whatever they wish to share on their special days, including making donations or our team can help facilitate their wishes. We also remember more solemn days together, holding space in our hearts and thoughts.

Bhajan Sandhya & Havans

Recognising how isolating the pandemic was for so many of us, especially those in the vulnerable groups, our service of the bhajan sandhya was born. Every week we held this service to bring many communities together in the UK and abroad to bring hope, company, solace, mental comfort and a deep spiritual connect to journey through tough times. We now continue this service once a month, held live at Iver with ample parking facilities, Address: 25 North Park Road, Richings Park, SL9 0DH. (Map). Please check our calendar for the next dates. Likewise, we perform a havan every quarter to make offerings of gratitude as we pray for protection, good health, good immunity and peace for all beings everywhere. We can also help with priest and bereavement services.

Workshops

We hold specialised workshops of interest to our members. These can include how to manage and cope with certain health conditions such as diabetes, anxiety, arthritis, hypertension, or insights into financial affairs, wills, inheritance tax, or they can be of a spiritual nature based on the knowledge of the Vedas and the Bhagwat Gita.

Opportunity Knocks

Vedicca London firmly believes that all its members should feel comfortable and at home at all our get togethers. In opportunity knocks we plan our group discussion sessions and activities so that everyone can participate. It is important that each and every member is heard. These activities are the perfect way for everyone to share their life experiences, showcase their talents and discover hidden ones.

Trips

As things return back to normality and our members begin to feel comfortable going out, we will be reorganising our regular trips. These include picnics to various parks, boat trips, tea parties, lunch outings, cinema, garden parties, day trips and more.
